Who I am
This website is run by Fotis Aronis, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. I am the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact me about privacy at admin@fotisaronis.com.
What I collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message, I receive your name, email address, company (if provided), project type, timeline and message. I use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to prepare a proposal and deliver the project.
Email. If you email me directly, I receive your email address and anything you include in the message, used for the same purposes.
Consultation bookings. If you book a call, the booking service collects your name, email address and any details you add, so the call can be scheduled.
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Legal basis
I process your data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Third parties that process data
- Formspree receives contact form submissions and forwards them to me by email.
- Google reCAPTCHA may be used on the contact form to protect it from spam. Google receives technical information about your browser and interaction with the page.
- Cal.com handles consultation bookings. Its booking calendar only loads when you click a booking button, and Cal.com receives the details you enter when you book.
- My hosting provider (Hostinger) serves this website and may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- Some project images are loaded from the websites of the projects they belong to (neurolearnvr.eu and Wix-hosted virtuacampus.tech), which receive your IP address when the images load.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and follow up. If we work together, I keep project and billing records for as long as UK tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to restrict or object to how I use it. To make a request, email admin@fotisaronis.com.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
