The Challenge

Clinicians and families need a way to give children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) structured, repeatable and personalised practice of social, cognitive and emotional skills, in an environment that is engaging but controlled.

The Solution

NeuroLearnVR is an immersive VR platform of research-based interventions targeting social interaction, executive functioning such as planning, and everyday adaptability. Each environment is designed with neuropsychologists to be structured, personalised and clinically relevant.

My Role

I lead the design and build of the immersive VR environments at the core of the platform, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of neuropsychologists, XR engineers and ethics advisors to turn intervention frameworks into accessible, hardware-integrated VR experiences.

Tech

Immersive VR environments, VR hardware integration and adaptive systems.

Outcome

A platform serving children with ASD, mental health professionals and families, with pilot programmes and academic collaborations including EKPA, Dimokritos and Insight.
